What Family Word Means To you?

Family as each letter of the word has a great meaning to it which is Father Mother I Love You. Once the family is intact, the whole structure of society is stable and hence our duty or mission in life is to first love ourselves and then we have an outpouring love in us to love our family unconditionally. If we are unhappy, it is a tall order to love someone else or even to take care of someone else. With this in mind, start taking good care of our mind and our body. We allow only positive thoughts into our minds and throw out the negative emotions as the negative emotions hold us back. We need to exercise our body to release the stress of daily life and when we are able to nurture our body with good nutrition and exercise, we have the energy to take care of others and be creative in fulfilling our dreams in our lives. When we have a sense of purpose in our lives, we are able to extend a hand to those who need support to help them as well.

Mother's Day Is coming

Mothers Day is a special day for honoring Mothers through out the world.

"Mother carries the child in her womb for nine months and in her heart for the rest of her life".

These few words sum up the meaning and significance of the word Mother. Mother is undoubtedly the most beautiful and lovable word in any language. This goes to show the importance of mother in our lives. Mother stands for millions of things she gives to her children; it also stands for sacrifices pain, grief and sorrows which she has to undergo to keep her children happy and secure. No joy can match the joy of a mother looking at her child, those craving eyes-deeper than a whole ocean. The most important woman in an individual's life is her/his mother. Her presence affects us our entire life and she can't be replaced by anyone.

Celebrated every year, Mother's Day is an occasion when individuals express their love and respect that they have for their mother. It's time to pamper her for all she has done for us over the years. On Mother's Day you can tell your Mom that she will always be important to you all and that you will continue to love her for ever. While many countries of the world celebrate their own Mother's Day at different times throughout the year, there are some countries such as Denmark, Finland, Italy, Turkey, Australia, and Belgium which also celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May.

Be Thankful

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference. It's easy to be thankful for the good things.

A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.

Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

Sacrifice your Career, not your Kids.

I believe that many people are sacrificing their families because of selfishness, greed, or just twisted priorities. We even convince ourselves that what we are doing is for the family, while all the while the family is being torn apart. And do you know what? Sadly, this is nothing new.

Back in biblical times, some people worshipped a false god named Molech or Moloch. This was a Semitic deity who was honored by the sacrifice of children, in which parents would cause their children to pass through or into the fire. People would let their infants burn at Molech's altar. It was thought that the sacrifice of one's child in this way would prove the family's devotion to Molech and guarantee success and prosperity for the family's future. People selfishly murdered their children under the guise of a future "greater good." Jeremiah 32:35, "And they built the high places of Ba'al, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin."

Today people do not lay their children before a false god on a burning altar of fire, but many people sacrifice their family in other ways. People get so wrapped up in trying to prove something to some company or get ahead and make money and climb the ladder of success that their family gets burned because of it. We have children becoming sexually active younger and younger because they are looking for love they are not getting at home. We have children joining gangs because that is the closest thing they can find that resembles a "family." You have kids with too much time on their hands delving into the occult because no parent was there to teach them about Jesus Christ. You have wives or husbands committing adultery because they spend more time with their coworkers than with their spouse.

Stop being so busy with the things of this world. Don't believe the world's lie that you are not successful unless you have X, Y & Z.
Make God number one and your family number two on your list of what is important to you and then live your life accordingly.

Matthew 5:19-21, "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through and steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

You have to set your priorities and make your family the most important thing in your life.
Sacrifice your career, not your kids.

The Lord is my Light

Light serves as a guide. It points the way one should go. Light also dispels the darkness and exposes the true reality of things. How many times have we been fearful wandering around in the darkness when finally we locate a light switch or turn on a flashlight and find great comfort and relief in being able to see our surroundings?

Christ does that for us as the light of the world. Jesus as the light of the world assures us of the presence of God, too. He is our constant companion throughout our lives. He is the unseen guest of every meal, the unseen listener to every conversation. Christ promised His disciples that He would never leave them or forsake them, and He is true to His word. No matter how alone you may feel today, no matter how many people have let you down and abandoned you, Christ is there right by your side. He is never so near as when we need Him the most, and He’s only a prayer away. As the light of the world, Jesus assures us of God’s presence. In John 8:12 Jesus proclaims "I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
